ENTER by the 7th March 2012 and receive 2 free tickets to the awards if your entry is short-listed by the judges.
Final Closing Date for receipt of completed entries online is midnight 27th May 2012.
These awards are open to all Directors or similar status. This includes LLP’s, Partners, appropriate sole traders etc. You do not need to be an IoD member to enter. You must live or work in Yorkshire.
You may nominate any eligible third party who has agreed to the nomination.
A Nomination is NOT an Entry - it is only recommending a third party to be allowed to enter. An invitation to Enter will then be sent automatically to the Nominee - you should follow up with them to ensure they have Entered.

In addition your entry will be considered by the judges for:

Judges Special Award (Will be drawn from the wider Yorkshire Community by the Judges)

Director of the Year Award (Selected by the judges from within all entries received)
By entering these awards, you undertake that if you are short-listed as a potential winner, you will attend the Awards on the 6th September 2012 or any revised date. If you are unable to attend you will send a substitute to receive any award and/or prize you may have won. If you fail to do this, any prize you may have won will be forfit and allocated elsewhere.
Where there is is shortage of application entries from any individual category, the judges may select further suitable entrants from within the Yorkshire region.
Voluntary members sitting on any IoD committee in any capacity are eligible to enter the competition. They should not make any reference to their IoD work in the application or CV. The judging panel is drawn from the Yorkshire business community and is independent of the event organisation. Your supplied details will remain confidential and used for judging this event only. All hardcopy applications used for judging will be securely destroyed following judging. The master electronic copy will be erased following the awards presentation unless you have requested that we carry it forward to another year.
